A Batch of Meatballs

A quick batch of meatballs makes for a wonderful dinner that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways (as a main, atop spaghetti, on sandwiches, etc.) I've made this dinner with TJ's meatballs and sauce but tonight I had a little more time and some stale bread so I made my own using a modified Jamie Oliver recipe.

Ingredients
2 lbs Organic Ground Beef
1 cup Bread Crumbs
2 tbs Oregano (dried)
1 tbs  Rosemary (fresh, finely chopped)
1 tsp Cumin (ground)
1 Egg yolk
2 tsp salt
1 bunch of Basil
1-2 handfuls of Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese
Tomato Sauce

Step 0
Preheat oven to 400F

Step 1
Mix bread crumbs, spices, salt, and egg yolk into the ground meat.

Step 2
Brown meatballs in a few lugs of olive oil in dutch oven on the stove top.

Step 3
Pour tomato sauce over meatballs, scatter torn basil, and cheese and place in oven for ~15-20 minutes.
